Happy New Year 2018

Happy New Year guys! 31 Days of the first month are already gone and i believe most of us are finally getting the hang of the new year ,our goals and maybe even those new resolutions you drafted on the first day of the year.

I feel like i should have started with an apology for having gone missing in September after having promised to be very consistent in my last post. Am sorry guys, life happened and it happened so fast but i feel like i should be true to what i love and enjoy doing and make time for it.So trust me to have a post up every two weeks and on good days a post every week.

I love documenting moments through photography and i truly do get fascinated by the beauty of my Country Kenya so most of my content will have travel in it or food or just candid images of my little family. You guys can also give us suggestions on what you would like us to share with you this year.

I will not say much in our first post of the year ,but do look forward to the posts that will follow throughout the year. Have a blessed year ahead guys and do not let anyone blow out your candle. Shine in whatever makes you feel awesome…:)

Change or Growth ?

Sometimes it is okay to take a break from things that we love and enjoy doing to either rediscover ourselves again or even change the strategy to suit our new paths in life.Life has been happening so fast, time is literally flying and so much was going on all at once,it was only fair for me to lean back and find my footing again,so my going MIA on the blog was never intentional guys.

Someone once said that Change is Inevitable and Growth is Intentional;it is true,we cannot always avoid change as much as it is scary sometimes, its hard to to step out of your comfort zone into the unknown but most of the time Change doesn’t even give us a choice. In most cases change is triggered by the happenings in our lives either good or bad happenings and depending on the one that led to changes, the changes can either be good or bad but i strongly believe in finding something positive in everything that happens.

As much as change doesn’t give us a choice,Growth does.We make an intentional decision to grow, whether its Mental growth,Financial growth or spiritual growth ,its normally a decision we make and intend to follow through until we see and feel the growth. And in some cases with change comes growth and with growth comes changes,it is all apart of life.

So whatever it is that is happening in or with your life ,whether its changes or growth or even both ,just learn how to embrace it so you can get the best out of that phase. That is exactly where i am in life,a phase full of inevitable changes, both good and others more of scary than bad and with them comes so much pressure for both intentional and pushed growth but am slowly learning how to embrace all of it and adapt to it all.

Someone told me it is a beautiful phase to be in and ever since i started looking at it like that,i have slowly started to get my drive back to do all the things that make me awesome as well as stay positive and optimistic in it all.

I plan to slowly start sharing more than just travel posts on the blog and i pray it will be inspiring content with an impact to my readers.Thank you so much for checking up on me for all those months via social media,i appreciate. Now i will see you here every week and its really exciting. 🙂 .. I look forward to interacting with you…

Enjoy the weekend.. Thank you for stopping by.

Love and Joy 🙂

Lake Oloiden

Hallo guys, its been about two months now since we last put up a post. Multitasking all i have on my plate gets tougher and challenging by the day but eventually i will master the art.

Last weekend of May we celebrated the Mister’s 20-something birthday and that’s how we ended up in the very beautiful and scenic Lake Oloiden Campsite .It is one of the most beautiful campsites in the Rift valley with very scenic views, beautiful lush grounds and a great sense of tranquility.

We had such beautiful bonding moments which we had so much missed due to our very busy schedules lately and its a place we look forward to going back to as a family and just relax and play games, literally just run after each other and laugh our hearts out.

Due to not writing for awhile ,i feel like am experiencing a writers block but lets hope that soon enough we will be back with beautiful experiences to share with you guys from our travels as well as continue with our #30daysofmommydaughtermagic.

Look at how scenic this play area is….

For now, enjoy the beautiful Images of Lake Oloiden campsite that i hope will Inspire you to plan a camping trip there with family and friends.

Thank you for your positive feedback on our social media platforms and for always reading our posts.

Happy New month guys! May June be your month to shine …

Safari Walk

When everyone else is always itching to get out of the city as soon as the Weekend gets here ,am one of those rare ones who drive into Nairobi to discover its hidden treasures, or maybe this has to do with the fact that i do not not actually live in Nairobi and it is an hours drive away but heck Nairobi is a beautiful city with some amazing destinations that await us to explore and experience.

The other day we partnered with Kenya Wildlife Service to experience the magic and beauty in one of their parks and from the pictures you can tell Sheyce had a lot to learn and see.

Safari walk is only 20 minutes drive away from Nairobi’s CBD and it is one of the parks that make Nairobi one of the most unique Cities in the World. At Safari walk you do nature trails as you enjoy the beautiful wildlife (lions, zebras, ostriches,Buffaloes, antelopes,Leopards, crocodiles ,Rhinos ,Monkeys ,Birds ,a special hippo breed and Monkeys) ,fresh air ,Nature and a really good breeze.

There is so much to learn about our wildlife at the park and the tour guides are willing to share all the knowledge they have as well as answer all your questions and learn from you too. After learning the importance of our wildlife from your tour ,you will want to be apart of the #youngvoicesforwildlife movement which is such a noble course.

The Kenya Safari Walk Park is a perfect plan for any day of the week or even the weekends and be sure to love the experience.

Once you get to visit any of their parks which are spread out in the country ,capture your moments and share them on their social media platforms ( Twitter,Instagram and Facebook ) with the hashtag #DiscoverKWSParks.

Thank you for stopping by ..

Uhuru Park

Hallo guys ,we have missed sharing our Safari diaries with you but we hope to start doing so as soon as possible. In the meantime we will share amazing 30 days of Mommy Daughter magic.

The campaign will run for 30 days showcasing some beautiful pieces worn by my daughter Sheyce and I ; complementing each other and sometimes completely twinning. Aside from the fashion aspect of the campaign ,it will also show some of Kenya’s easily accessible  yet amazingly beautiful destinations.

We purpose to inspire women ,especially young moms to bond with their daughters through Fashion and Adventures.

This is our first piece of 30 Days of Mommy Daughter Magic which we shot at the amazingly beautiful Uhuru Park which is right in the heart of Nairobi . It was a chilly Saturday Morning but we loved being there and enjoyed the very affordable activities Uhuru Park had to Offer.

Boat ride was Ksh 300 only and it was too awesome.

after boat ride

From Uhuru Park you get to see a very beautiful and green Nairobi and at the same time have so much fun.

Give us feedback about our campaign and contact us for partnerships.
