K1 Flea Market

I bet most of you do not know of the K1 Flea Market Sundays yet ,yes?Well, neither did i until some time last week when i came across one of my Friends’ Insta-stories and i just couldn’t wait for Sunday to get here so that i could drive there and experience some K1 Flea market vibe.

We got there at around 10am in the morning when they had just finished setting up and there was already no free parking space( be sure to find Kenyans turned up as early as that even on a Sunday morning in any cool place in town) but we were so impressed by the beautiful set up.

That was the 8th edition of the Flea market which was created by Kaz Lucas and it happens every Sunday. They have amazing brunch which is affordably priced ,and there are this Fashion stands with some amazing unique pieces of fashion statements from shoes, jewellery, fabrics, clothes and make up which are crazy affordable. Its a Flea market ,so be sure to find some good and unique stuff and be sure to mingle too.

this little bakery right at the entrance by patricia has some of the most delicious cakes and cookies ever..

So there you go guys ,i just gave you a new Sunday plot after Church which am sure you will get to love and enjoy.

Its mothers day weekend and i do not have anything special planned but that doesn’t mean i do not celebrate my beautifully amazing mother and all the other mothers i know. I appreciate mothers,i have not experienced a love as great as that one of a mother in both receiving and giving ends.

Mothers are blessed with so much wrapped up in one ,not even words could describe who a mother is. So lets appreciate and celebrate our beautiful mothers ,mother figures, aunts or simply anyone who has played the role of a mother in your life. They are special and a blessing in our lives and they should be made to feel so because they deserve it.

Thank you for stopping by ..:)

Enjoy the weekend friends …

Uhuru Park

Hallo guys ,we have missed sharing our Safari diaries with you but we hope to start doing so as soon as possible. In the meantime we will share amazing 30 days of Mommy Daughter magic.

The campaign will run for 30 days showcasing some beautiful pieces worn by my daughter Sheyce and I ; complementing each other and sometimes completely twinning. Aside from the fashion aspect of the campaign ,it will also show some of Kenya’s easily accessible  yet amazingly beautiful destinations.

We purpose to inspire women ,especially young moms to bond with their daughters through Fashion and Adventures.

This is our first piece of 30 Days of Mommy Daughter Magic which we shot at the amazingly beautiful Uhuru Park which is right in the heart of Nairobi . It was a chilly Saturday Morning but we loved being there and enjoyed the very affordable activities Uhuru Park had to Offer.

Boat ride was Ksh 300 only and it was too awesome.

after boat ride

From Uhuru Park you get to see a very beautiful and green Nairobi and at the same time have so much fun.

Lets play cute and sassy

Of a random mini fun shoot in a cute little custom made sassy skirt and as usual ,some flowers. I love wild interesting flowers but am still very typical when it comes to roses.

As cliche as it is; work without play makes Jack a dull boy ,is a true phrase. And when a toddler is your model ,then you have to incorporate play in between shoots and just let her be in her truest self.

This is Sheyce being playfully cute but very conscious of the lens capturing her.She mesmerizes me with her artsy character and free spirit, its always a good day when entirely spent with her.

Today ,lets keep it that brief ..:) Happy New Month !!!
